In short, we are an Australian boy and an English girl, farming in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, inland from Noosa. We met in Byron Bay in 2015 and quickly learned that we share the same hopes and dreams. Since then, we have encouraged and inspired each other to start fulfilling those dreams together.

We have a passion for good food, nature, community supported agriculture, homesteading, regenerative farming, simple living, the ocean, travel and treading lightly on the earth.

We started Hunters Garden together based on the fundamental principles that we are proudly chemical free and zero waste. This came from our desire to live more sustainably, to provide better options for ourselves and others and to create a business that complements the lifestyle we love.

Whilst travelling the East Coast of Australia living out of our beautiful self-converted campervan, we were craving real food. However, even at the large thriving ‘farmers markets’ we found a large proportion of resellers, selling out of season food from interstate. We also saw behind the scenes on some farms claiming to be chemical free, yet still using artificial fertilisers. nasty herbicides, industrial scale chicken manure and chemically treated seed. So we started growing our own.

Alongside our range of microgreens, we are now delighted to also offer a limited number of CSA subscriptions so that we can provide people in our local communities with truly nutrient-rich food grown out of healthy soil. We are keen advocates of the many benefits of this alternative food model to change the way we farm, eat and think about food. Join us in taking the power back!
